mysqldump -u root -p dbname > db.sql

UNDUMP:

mysql -u root -p dbname < db.sql

keyboard layout:

A keyboard layout is any specific mechanical, visual, or functional arrangement of the keys, legends, or key–meaning associations (respectively) of a computer, typewriter, or other typographic keyboard.

How to select the keyboard preference :

System –>Preference –>Keyboard –>layouts –> Add

choose the layout based on country or language.

Now the selected  layout is display in your  keyboard preference,  select the new layout and choose layout options as

|> key(s) to change layout.

click the small arrow on left side and tick the check box and close it.

Graphical display the layout out switching:

Rright click the panel and select add to panel and choose  Keyboard indicator  and Add.

Now the keyboard  indicator is display.

phpMyAdmin is a free software tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the World Wide Web.

open a phpmyadmin http://localhost/phpmyadmin/

Create the database:

when you  create the database,you must select the collation as

utf8_unicode_ci.

create table filed:

when you  create the  table fileds ,you must select the collation as

utf8_unicode_ci.

then you can insert theTamil words  in mysql tables and export.
