DUMP:

mysqldump -u root -p dbname > db.sql

UNDUMP:

mysql -u root -p dbname < db.sql

    what is db.sql, is it the file extension for mysql or any databases;

    db.sql here .sql is the file extension and db is the file name, you can give anything instead db.
