Tomboy

Tomboy is a desktop note-taking application for Linux and Unix. Simple and easy to use, but with potential to help you organize the ideas and information you deal with every day.

Backup:

$ cp ~/.tomboy /media/usb/

Restore:

Fedora12:

$ cp -r /media/usb/.tomboy/*.* ~/.gnote

Ubuntu:

$ cp -r /media/usb/.tomboy/*.* ~/.tomboy

    Any idea how you’d do this on WinXP? I wish there was some plugin to do this, unless I’m mistaken it seems like you’re backing up the entire folder?
